You can breed the following butterfly classes:

  • (common) Butterfly,
  • (uncommon) Priest/Priestess, Soldier
  • (rare) Prince/Princess, Worker, Bard
  • (very rare) King/Queen, Godfather/Godmother
  • (ultra rare) Alchemist

What Do Classes Do?

  • Workers work and restore tokens to your plants.
  • Soldiers kill spiders.
  • Priests/Priestesses heal the injured.
  • Bards boost social stats.
  • Princes/Princess boosts morale.
  • Kings/Queens boosts loyalty.
  • Alchemists boost the S+ stat.
  • Godfathers/Godmothers make items last longer and restore mating tokens.

What Are the Breeding Chances?

'Butterfly' is the general class, and included in every butterfly. No matter what you're mating there's a chance you get a generic breeder butterfly out of the deal. Also, if either parent is a 'Butterfly' class, that chance increases significantly considering that 'Butterfly' has triple the weight of most other classes.

'Soldier' and 'Priest' have twice weight of most other classes. For example, breeding a 'Butterfly' and a 'Soldier' would give you a class-pool of 'Butterfly, Butterfly, Butterfly, Butterfly, Soldier, Soldier' as the choices when choosing the offspring's class. Breeding a 'Priest' and 'Soldier' would get you a class-pool of 'Butterfly, Soldier, Soldier, Priest, Priest', a very good chance of getting something other than a 'butterfly'.

'Prince', 'Princess', and 'Bard' have a standard class-weight of 1, which means you're more likely to get a Soldier or Priest out of the breeding than you would a Prince, Princess, or Bard. Breeding a 'Priestess' and 'Bard' would get you a class-pool of 'Butterfly, Priestess, Priestess, Bard', for example. Breeding a 'Prince' and 'Princess' would get you a pool of 'Butterfly, Prince, Princess', a very good chance of getting one or the other.

'King' and 'Queen' have a class weight of 1, but any breeding of these two automatically injects an additional 'Butterfly' into the pool as well. For example, breeding a 'King' and 'Queen' together would get you a class pool of 'Butterfly, Butterfly, Butterfly, King, Queen'; because both a king and a queen were mated, each one injected a 'Butterfly' into the pool.
